Please note that participants are required to bring their own canoe or kayak, personal floatation device, and any other gear that they require. We recommend water, snacks, a hat, bug repellent, and sunscreen.

Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP), New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), and Lake Champlain Basin Program are partnering to remove water chestnut plants from the water surrounding the Plattsburgh Boat Launch. If you are interested in learning more about invasive plants and how infestations are managed, then join us. We request that you register to attend the event by July 16. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

NOTE: A signed waiver must be submitted before participating in this event. Completed waivers can be emailed to . Hard copies of the waiver will also be available the day of the event.
