The Caroga Lake region has experienced an increase of invasive pests including knotweed, phragmites (reed grass) hemlock wooly adelgid, emerald ash borer, and other problematic species that can crowd out native plants and cause damage to property and forest ecosystems.
Join APIPP Terrestrial Invasive Species Manager Ari Giller-Leinwohl and the Canada Lakes Conservation Association at Sherman’s Pavilion for an educational session on how to identify, report, prevent, and manage terrestrial invasive species infestations in the region.
