APIPP’s AIS program is working to have every lake in the Adirondacks mapped using BioBase. Knowing the physical conditions of underwater ecosystems will help resource managers know where to focus scouting efforts.

Starting in 2018, the APIPP Aquatic Project began partnering with the Adirondack Park Agency and Adirondack Lakes Alliance to expand the use of a new mobile monitoring tool allowing lake associations to assess how well their aquatic invasive plant management efforts are working.
