Co-sponsored by the Lake George Land Conservancy and the Adirondack Mountain Club
Join the Lake George Land Conservancy, Adirondack Mountain Club, and Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program for a hemlock woolly adelgid field survey training. Refresh your winter outing safety skills while learning to identify hemlock trees, survey for hemlock woolly adelgid, and report your findings using iMapInvasives.
This in-person training is designed to gain field experience after participating in an online training webinar hosted by APIPP, which took place on January 24 (listen the recording here). Participation in the webinar is not required to attend this event. Winter hiking gear (snowshoes and/or microspikes) may be required for this event depending on conditions.
