Co-sponsored by the Ausable River Association
Join the Ausable River Association and the Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP) for a hemlock woolly adelgid field survey training. Refresh your winter outing safety skills while learning to identify hemlock trees, survey for hemlock woolly adelgid, and report your findings using iMapInvasives.
This in-person training is designed to gain field experience after participating in an online training webinar hosted by APIPP, which will take place on January 24. Participation in the webinar is not required to attend this event. Winter hiking gear (snowshoes and/or microspikes) may be required for this event depending on conditions. Free loaner gear is available to participants who need it.
