Exploring iMapInvasives - Protect the Adirondacks through Citizen Science

iMapInvasives is an easy-to-use mobile mapping tool helping to protect New York State from the threat of invasive species through volunteer citizen science. When land managers know the location and size of early infestations, action can be taken to control invasive plants and animals in the Adirondacks! Join the Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP) and expert staff from NY iMapInvasives to take a deeper dive into this fun conservation app.

This two hour online workshop is a follow to APIPP's Aquatic and Terrestrial Invasive Species Identification events hosted during Invasive Species Awareness Week 2020. No problem if you missed those events - check out those recorded webinars and brush up on your species ID skills on our website.

iMapInvasives can be used on a tablet or smart phone, or desktop computer - please have either ready for use during this event.
