Terrestrial Invasive Plant Identification and Survey Training @ Point Au Roche State Park

Do you like to hike, camp, or spend time outdoors? Help APIPP better understand the distribution of terrestrial invasive species in backcountry areas of the Adirondacks. This half-day training provides participants with an introduction to the biology and identification of common terrestrial invasive plants affecting the Adirondack region. Attendees will learn about New York’s iMapInvasives database and how to report occurrences of invasive species using the iMapInvasives mobile app.

This training will be held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for an afternoon in the field. Sturdy footwear is recommended.

To register, please complete this form or contact APIPP’s Terrestrial Project Coordinator.
